    BeastCoast The Collective

I’ve been to Boston a couple times before but it was never down town, it was always a Red Sox game here, aquarium there, but never had I gotten to experience Boston besides those places. We got a bit turned around before we got the meet, but I could not of been happier breaking my neck looking at what was laid out before me. Boston truly is a beautiful city, and I can’t wait to take a trip down there and just walk around for an entire night with my camera. When we finally did find the meet, it was exactly what I had pictured. Amazing location, and an absolutely…

Event Coverage: Club Loose North Drift Event

Ok, before we even get into anything about the day and how amazing of an experience it was, let me just say this: GO TO A DRIFT EVENT. Honestly if you are even slightly interested in the sport, you have to make it out to one of Club Loose North events this summer, it really is worth it. Starting out the day, and having to wake up at 3:30am to make it to New Hampshire Motor Speedway for the Club Loose North drift event, was a bit of a task, but boy was it worth it. Arriving about an hour before the event gave me plenty of time to walk…

Event Coverage: Cruise to IFO Fall 2014

Groups from all over the state met up early on a Sunday morning at the Kennebunk rest stop to cruise to Import Face Off at New England Dragway in Epping, NH. Import Face Off happens twice a year, and tends to be some of the biggest shows of the season. They hold a car show, drag racing, and even a burnout contest with tons of vendors on site. Our coverage of this event can be seen in our gallery.

    Medomak Valley Car Show

Here is our coverage of what we could get at Medomak Valley’s Car Show. The day started out absolutely perfect. The weather was beautiful, the sun was out with a slight breeze, soon to be brought down by rain and even hail. We had fun while it lasted, but there’s always next year. Congratulations to the trophy winners and see you next time! Click on our gallery to see the full coverage.

    Cumberland Motor Club AutoCross

My very first introduction to CMC was through a good friend of mine Brian Austin back in 2006. At the time I had no idea autocross even existed, but Brian was already nuts about it. Consequently about 6 months later, and 5 days after signing the paperwork on my barely used 2003 Mitsubishi Evo 8, I was sliding sideways at the Crooker lot in Brunswick. Temp paper plates and all. After that I never really looked at motorsports the same, or parking lots for that matter. I never would have thought, in a million years, that some cones in barely used tarmac parking lot could be such an insane amount…

    New England Dustoff 2014

From the first flakes of snow, everyone I know who is into cars longs for this day. Unlike Dubs on Defrost, which is basically the biggest get together you have ever seen, Dustoff is the official start of not only the VW show season, but the entire New England show season. Held at Seekonk Speedway in Seekonk Massachusetts, as claimed by the host on their website,┬ánedustoff.com, this is easily the biggest Audi/VW show in New England. Every year they fill the entire track with cars. The track itself is a small oval, just a tad smaller than Beech Ridge over in Scarborough, but its still a fully functioning track in…

    SMCM OOB Meet

This past Friday was the very first meet that Southern Maine Car Meets put on at a small lot in Old Orchard Beach, and I must say it was a great success. The lot they picked out was only meant to hold about 50 or so cars and they completely filled it up. Everything from a dumped 1970 Cadillac Coupe De-ville, to a MK4 Supra were on hand. The usual show offs also showed up, and made their idiocy known with an un welcomed burnout, thankfully OOB’s finest are an extremely understanding bunch.
